Introduction to Water Bath Canning

Using the art and science of water bath canning, discover how to make your favorite fruits and vegetables last longer by turning them into shelf-stable pickles or preserves. We’ll discuss safety, equipment and reliable resources, all while working through the entire canning process together in class.
Participants will take home two jars of their own preserved foods. Class price includes all supplies.
Class is being offered through Mt Hood Community College and registration must be completed on their site.
