Tackling Tomatoes (PCC SE)

Wednesday, August 16 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

| $64

There is nothing quite like a fresh, in-season tomato. How can we hold on to that incredible flavor year-round? By learning to safely preserve them. Can your own diced tomatoes, and learn about everything from water bath and pressure canning to dehydrating and freezing this multi-purpose fruit.

This class is being offered through Portland Community College’s Community Education program in the Summer 2017 term at PCC’s Southeast Campus. The course number and description can be found here. (If you are new to PCC and don’t have an account, you’ll need to start the registration process here.)
